The transformation of Indonesian tradition into a product with contemporary design spirit, by fusing the high manufacturing process and the high craftsmanship of the locals, as well as the detail of Indonesian rattan, has brought the real beauty and comfort to this chair. This armchair is a project trying to preserve the classic philosophy of rattan production process while engaging in a research for greater comfort through the use of flexible ribs in its shell-shaped backrest and its upholstered seat. Later, multiple versions were born from this first design, including materials. However, the result was the same in all cases: ultimate comfort and a modern look.”
